Branding and packaging design for a craft beer brand.
We were tasked with the challenge of rebranding an existing award-winning independent craft brewery who wanted to extend its appeal to a younger target market and needed cool branding and packaging to be able to make this transition.
The new branding and packaging needed to be cool, distinctive and memorable and support the brands explorer archetype in a quirky and challenging way. The logo also had to be versatile and look great on cans and bottles as well as t-shirts and beer pumps.
We created a character called ‘flamehead’ that has emerged from flames of a Bunsen burner and not only represents the impish, playful nature of the craft beer company but also has a link back to the owner of the company being a scientist.
The packaging design is conceptual work at this stage.
